Background & General Information:
FPB Financial Corp., a Louisiana Corporation formed in February 1999, is the holding company of Florida Parishes Bank which is a federally chartered stock savings bank originally formed in 1922 as Florida Parishes Homestead Association. The Company's business consists principally of attracting deposits from the general public and using those funds to originate loans for residential, consumer, commercial and construction purposes. The Company's primary market area for lending and attracting deposits is principally Tangipahoa and the adjacent Parishes of Livingston and St. Tammany.
At December 31, 2008, the Company had total assets of $175.7 million, deposits of $133.1 million and a net loan portfolio of $132.2 million.
